Katie wins at the Gloucester Guild Summer Show

This year eight graduates from the Crafts Cluster were invited to exhibit in the Gloucester Guild of Craftsmen Summer Show held in Painswick, Stroud, Gloucestershire alongside graduates from other institutions including Bath Spa .

Every year a prize is awarded to the most promising of the invited graduates – promising in terms of design quality and ambition to create their own business and it's worth £500

The prize is given via a charity that supports small new business and enterprise initially set up by the former Chair of the Guild Richard Paice.

This year we are delighted to announce that the prize has been awarded to Artist Blacksmith Graduate Katie Wright.

Previous winners from our Crafts Cluster include Richard Weaver, Jake Lazzari and Simon Bushell all of whom have successfully established themselves as makers since graduating.

The exhibition is open in Painswick until Sunday 26th August
