Good bye Max

Max Suffield has been a part time teaching assistant and member of the Crafts team for the last six years , last week was his last week in the College.

The Crafts Cluster staff gave him a Melanie Brown celadon teapot as a present to say thank you for all his hard work and the contribution he made to the teaching team and students .

Graduate News - Craft in the Bay

Seven recent graduates from CAA and one from Artist Blacksmithing are currently exhibiting in the Oriel 2 space at Craft in the Bay Cardiff, there is an opening on Friday 16th Nov.

Graduate News - Nick Buchan

Yesterday I headed off to Coleg Ceredigion to talk to their foundation students and on the way home I popped in to see Nick as I drove through Rhayader in Powys ...

Nick graduated last June and has already set up his forge and workshop which is nestled in the mountains and surrounded by reservoirs , its a beautiful location with fabulous views and I spotted several red kites circling overhead.

He's busy making and has a commission for a fountain for a architect alongside curtain rails and a range of vessels for several craft fairs it's great to see him set up and focused so soon after graduation ..
